Hannah's daily gubbins

Ladies and Gentlemen of the internet, enjoy my blog. If I could offer you only one tip for future happiness, dailygubbins would be it. The long-term benefits of reading my blog have been proved by doctors (ie, me), whereas the rest of my advice has no basis more reliable than my own meandering experience. I will commence this advice now...

"Sinister and scary"

Couldn't resist another quick update, after playing around a bit on the doctors.net website this evening I happened upon a thread with the following title in the general chat forum. It poses the question "What is it about clowns that make them so f*cking sinister and scary?"
Then followed a string of comments from my esteemed professional colleagues agreeing with the above sentiment, and a few pictures too, like Stephen King's "It" and other sinister-looking clowns. Then this picture was posted with the comment that "this happy-go-lucky clown wouldn't hurt anybody".

Really?

So I posted the following: "See that picture of the "happy go lucky" clown? Look behind him, there is an empty child's buggy. Look again at the straining fabric over the clown's belly. THE CLOWN HAS EATEN THE CHILD AND IS ESCAPING ON ITS YELLOW MOPED! This evil must be stopped!"

Ha. I think I proved the point.

I agree. Clowns are always sinister! If you're a clown & want to entertain people, why paint the smile on? Unless of course you really a miserable git & can't be bothered to smile for real!
