Helmet!

Back from ski-ing, so the kit is all put away for another year. Had a good time, although came away more injured than I usually do as I ended up with whiplash all last week after being knocked over by a chairlift on the last day (stupid French one, didn't leave enough time and space to safely get off before the chair swung around), and also a huge lump on my head after wiping out off-piste and hitting the back of my head with my ski. Ow. So I think I might invest in a helmet for next year. There was tons of powder, more than I've ever seen before, and so a lot of our ski-ing was done off-piste and so if I'm going to be a bit more extreme then I think I might need the protection. And on a different sort of helmet, here is a photo of Flaine's ice rink as seen from our hotel room one morning - someone had taken the opportunity to draw some giant knobs in the snow. Snigger.

Back at work now and as if I never left, but got another week off starting next weekend but not going anywhere exotic, just to see various friends I think. Saving the next big holiday for the summer, but probably more about that some other time.
